"You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created everything, and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created".
"That is what Revelations 4:11 says about our life.
God gave us choice, free will and unique personalities. His heart is to have us choose to honor Him with our life. To live for His purpose, which is to bring others the love of Jesus Christ, drawing them closer to Him through us. The only love that can sustain us, nurture us and heal our hurting hearts, minds, bodies and souls.
Can you look back at your life and recall the incredible feeling of love that someone was showing you? I want to really break it down into terms that you can wrap your heart around. The look in their eye for you, was it pure adoration? A gentle spirit of encouragement amidst all life’s pain. Almost as to say, "Go forward, you can do it."
Many of us get this idea of life: we spend our lives searching for love through romance, marriage, children, jobs, money; it keeps slipping away. It is unattainable. We wonder what is the meaning of life, where is heaven? Is it in the clouds? Drifting past us. The heaven I speak of comes from a personal relationship with Jesus. Many of us are wading through the gray water trying to drink of the living water. But the living water comes from a totally different well. And oh how the living water will quench our thirst, if we can find the well to draw it from.
There is a humongous difference in the love of Jesus Christ and human love. If you have the opportunity to be in a relationship with a mature believer, the first thing you will notice is they love you differently. This love I speak of, feels good. It is gentle and kind and encouraging, heaven on earth.
John 3:6 (NLT), "Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven."
This new life from heaven, we get to live it here on earth. Amidst all of life’s pain, hurts, struggles and loneliness, through a miraculous touch the Holy Spirit pierces our hearts, situations, circumstances and shines brilliant hope. A miracle that touches our thought process. Changes attitudes. A change from the inside, making its way to the world. Some people may say, that is living life with the cup ½ full, instead of ½ empty; however, this mind set will not hold up when experiencing the death of a loved one. The love of Jesus Christ is the only salve to save the day.
